Intro to Facial Aesthetics

(Day, $1799)

  • Intro to Facial Aesthetics will cover everything from skin classifications (Fitzpatrick, Burton Scale) to complications to skin concerns such as acne, melasma, rosacea, hyperpigmentation, and more. The different treatment modalities for each skin concern will be discussed in-depth and proper client assessment and consultation. The hands-on experience received will allow students to perform SkyRose Aqua Dermabrasion Facials, dermaplaning, microneedling, and/or microneedling w/Natural Growth Factor Injections facial, also called a vampire facial.

The course covers chemical peels, anatomy, skin conditions, and the benefits of these medical-grade treatments. Different peels are available. Client assessment, contraindications, and indications.   • One-on-one or small group hands-on training (up to 6 attendees) for the novice injectors or injectors looking to brush up on their skills. The course covers safe techniques using neuromodulators dermal fillers.

Experience

This course is tailored for medical professionals who hold a license as an RN, NP, PA, MD, DDS 0 to 12 months injecting experience

  • The aging processes
  • Teaching on FDA-approved and off-label uses

  • Xeomin-- and dermal fillers--Juvederm, Restylane, Versa, Voluma, etc. The course will cover indications and contraindications and the features and benefits of each product.
  • Importance of injectable safety kits and how to prepare for and avoid any adverse reactions and complications.
  • Hands-on 1:1 training on 3-5 models with oversight and expert directions from our Board-certified instructors. Neurotoxin training will focus on the upper face (forehead, crow's feet, frown lines "11", brow lift, bunny lines, and jelly roll). Dermal Filler training will focus on rejuvenating and restoring nasolabial folds, marionette lines, corners of the mouth, lip enhancement, and softening lip lines.
